Bihar's Agricultural Treasures: The Story of its GI-Tagged Products

The Shahi Litchi, known for its unique aroma and juicy pulp, was one of the first. It was followed by the Katarni Rice, an aromatic short-grain rice; the Jardalu Mango of Bhagalpur, famous for its sweet taste and fragrance; and the Magahi Paan from the Magadh region.,Most recently, the Mithila Makhana (fox nut) received the GI tag, a major boost for farmers in the Mithila region.
